Strawberry Peach Sangria
Ingredients
Strawberry Peach Sangria
- 3 cups rosé wine, use your favourite variety (one (750-millilitre or 25-ounce) bottle of wine)
- ½ cup peach vodka
- 2 peaches, halved, pitted and sliced into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup sliced strawberries, green tops removed
- 2 tablespoons lime juice, from about 1 lime
- ½ cup orange juice
- club soda, enough to top off glasses
Rosemary Simple Syrup
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 2 springs rosemary, smashed/rubbed a little to release oils
Instructions
Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Heat water in a small saucepot over medium-low heat (don't boil). Add rosemary and stir in sugar until dissolved. Allow to cool. Note: If you prefer the sangria a little sweeter, adjust the simple syrup accordingly by making a little more; it's just equal parts sugar to water.
Stawberry Peach Sangria
- Combine wine, vodka, peaches, strawberries, lime juice, orange juice and simple syrup (including rosemary sprigs) in a pitcher, stir, cover, and let sit in refrigerator for about 3 hours or overnight (if you don't have that kind of time, don't worry about it!).
- Remove/discard rosemary springs, then pour sangria into glasses and top off with club soda. Serve and enjoy!
