Ultimate Cheeseburger
This Ultimate Cheeseburger is flavourful, filling and, of course, CHEESY!  The beef patties are simply prepared with only a few spices and no binder.  My favourite part? They’re grilled and topped with copious amounts of cheddar cheese.  For the sauce, there’s a delicious roasted garlic mayo and then the burgers are garnished with goodies like tomato, thinly sliced onion, pickle and crispy bacon.  Get grillin’ with this Ultimate Cheeseburger; you’re going to love it!

Ultimate Cheeseburger
  1. To cook bacon (if using), place on a grill on a parchment lined baking sheet in a 400F oven for 25-30 minutes, turning once (I like my bacon crispy).
  2. For the burger patties, in a large bowl combine meat, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne and black pepper and mix to combine. Don’t overmix. Form into four 4oz (about 1/2 cup each or 115g each) patties. Season one side with salt to taste.
  3. Heat grill to about 400F and cook patties about 4-5 minutes. Flip and season other side with salt to taste and cook another 4-5 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. For each burger, place roughly 1/2 tbsp. of the roasted garlic mayo on bottom bun. Then, do the same for the top bun.
  5. Now to assemble! I layered onion, pickle, greens, beef patty, bacon and tomato. Enjoy!
Roasted Garlic Mayo (optional)
  1. To roast garlic – slice top of garlic bulb so all cloves are exposed. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper and 1/2 tsp of olive oil. Wrap in foil and bake on 400F for 35-40 minutes. Carefully remove from oven and carefully open from foil.
  2. In a small food processor add mayo, lemon, salt, pepper and garlic cloves (squeeze each clove from outer skin). Blend until smooth and combined.
