I absolutely love onion rings!  Anyone who knows me, knows my deep love for them.  If I’m in a restaurant that has onion rings on the menu I just can’t pass them up, but only if they are homemade; forget the premade frozen ones.  I don’t have time for that, lol!

Thinking about them recently, I decided to whip up a batch.  It’s amazing how many rings you can get from one onion.  Talk about inexpensive to make!  You just have to have the patience to fry them in batches.  As much as I adore these little rings of deep fried crispy goodness, this is not something I would eat everyday, ’cause, after all, they are deep fried.  They are, though, a great little treat every once in a while.
