Hey guys!  Real talk.  Let’s get serious for a hot minute, ok?  Ok, not that serious, but  I’m bringing you something a little different today.  Mixing this whole posting thing up, ya know?  I haven’t been blogging for a huge amount of time, but long enough where I can share a few tidbits of info with you guys.

You may be thinking ‘But, Dawn, I’m not a food blogger; why would I even care?’  Wellllll, first of all hopefully you like me and you like reading my stuff or maybe you will find this half entertaining or, at the very least, a way to spend 10 minutes while you drink your morning coffee before you have to haul yourself out the door.  Really selling it here, aren’t I?  And, positive note,  if you don’t find it entertaining, well I guess you can laugh at me.  No, don’t do that 😉 Continue reading

Hi everyone!  Can you believe that we are over a month past Christmas?  Where did January fly?  Are you counting down the days until Spring?  Summer?  Looking at your warm weather wardrobe?  I may be just a tiny tiny bit, but can you blame me with all this cold weather we’ve been having?  We have been going through a super cold spurt – like minus 25 degrees with the wind chill.  I swear, I’m not built for this.  Bundle me up nice and warm, ya know?  On the positive side, at least with the cold weather we can stay inside all cozy and eat all the comfort food 🙂 Anyway, let’s get to it. Let’s have a look at what’s been going on around here this past month! Hi everyone!  How has the holidays been going for you so far?  Lots of good eats &  drinks with  family and friends?  I sure hope so!  I’ve been eating my way through the holidays….lots of time for healthier stuff in the new year, right?  For now, bring on all the chocolate, cookies, turkey and cheese plates ’cause girl be hungry (except for the day after Christmas Day!)  I was so full that I’m only eating 3 days later!  Haha!  Just kiddin’, but, boy, was I stuffed!
